Along with Handscomb and Hazlewood, Ashton Turner and D’Arcy Short have faced the same fate. The bowling department will be led by Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins. Jhye Richardson is the young bowler who has been named in the world cup squad after a tremendous bowling in India Tour of Australia to Australia tour of India. The ICC World Cup 2019 is scheduled to be played at England & Wales, starting from May 30.

Chairman of Selectors, Trevor Hohns, said, “Steve Smith and David Warner come back into the squad. Both are world class players and it has been pleasing to see them produce some good form in the IPL.” Australia has recently won the series against Pakistan, and one more good news for the Kangaroos is that David Warner and Steve Smith who have made a comeback after serving a ban, have started ferociously. Australia is the second team to announce the 15-man squad following New Zealand, who announced the squad first. Meanwhile, India is going to announce the 15-Man squad on April 15 and Pakistan on April 17.
