Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians are all set to lock horns in a clash at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi after winning their previous clashes. Delhi Capitals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad, whereas Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore. Delhi Capitals are struggling with their batting department, except Rishabh Panth leading the team with the bat. Likewise, Mumbai Indians despite having depth in the batting department, are still struggling with the middle-order. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals are both on the same boat with five wins out of eight matches.

Mumbai Indians are on the third position in the points table, whereas Delhi Capitals are ruling the second position following Chennai Super Kings on the top. Delhi Capitals in the previous game replaced Colin Ingram, with the inclusion of Colin Munro, as Ingram has recently become Dad. Likewise, Delhi Capitals might replace Keemo Paul with Sandeep Lamichhane for the clash against Mumbai Indians. The inclusion of J Suchith though wasn’t up to the mark, but it will be interesting to see if he gets a game against Mumbai Indians considering the nature of Kotla pitch.

On the other side, there is still no clarity on Alzarri Joseph’s injury and Jason Behrendorff has been an expensive bowler for Mumbai Indians. Hence, McClenaghan is likely to be back in playing XI. Meanwhile, coach of Delhi Capitals Ricky Ponting hints the match to be difficult for Mumbai Indians. He said It’s going to be difficult for Mumbai, coming and playing on this kind of surface. We have a pretty clear understanding of how our wicket is going to play. We expect it’s going to be quite slow, low and probably turn a little bit. We just have to be well prepared for that.”
