IPL 2019 Match 7, RCB vs MI Match Preview
E1

After getting defeated in their openers, both Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians are keen to open up the winning transaction in Indian Premier League season 12. RCB vs MI is going to be more interesting as the match is scheduled to be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Due to the short boundaries, it is expected to have raining sixes in Chinna, especially when there are giant names in both the teams like AB De Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer, Kieran Pollard, De Cock, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and the man always in the news- Virat Kohli.

M. Chinnaswamy is hosting its first game of IPL 2019, but the last T20 played here witnessed a wonderful century by the Australian Batsmen Glenn Maxwell. This clearly show it is the batting pitch and in the evening the dew factor assists the batsmen a lot. Hence, the team will go for the chase after winning the toss. Jasprit Bumrah is the dangerous man for RCB and Virat Kohli on the same time. Kohli was the first wicket of Jasprit Bumrah in his IPL career. Though there is no official statement on the injury of Jasprit Bumrah as he twisted his shoulder in the previous match against Delhi Capitals, but as per the practise session, he is all set to hunt for the wickets.

Both the teams are likely to go unchanged, for their next battle against each other i.e. RCB vs MI. There is one fact about Mumbai Indians, that the franchise begins its journey in IPL from below the chart, but after 5 or 7 matches they start climbing the points table. Virat Kohli will be eyeing on working on his shots and team’s batting order which was dominated by Chennai Super Kings in RCB’s opening match. The target is clear for both the teams, to open the winning account, and toss is said to be the chase by toss-winning captain.
