After thumping victory during a clash in a super over match, Delhi Capitals are all set to lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders again. This time, Kolkata will be hosting the Delhites which is going to be very tough for Delhi Capitals. Also, Kolkata’s beloved son Sourav Ganguly aka Dada will be coming home again but from the side of Delhi Capitals. Since Sourav Ganguly had played a lot of cricket in Eden Gardens, this might give a boost to Delhi Capitals in order to understand the pitch and ground. Kolkata Knight Riders in six games so far, have won four matches and lost two against Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals only.

Now, this is the time to take revenge for the defeat suffered at Kotla. Though Andre Russell is dominating the bowlers of every team, but the yorker by Kagiso Rabada in a previous clash during Super Over will be a nightmare for him. Russell in Kotla, scored devastating 62 runs off just 28 ball, but it went to a super over match, where Rabada snatched the victory. In a previous match against Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders fall like cards from the openers to the only Andre Russell taking the score to the fighting total, scoring 50 runs off 46 balls single handedly.

Despite having fallen like cards against Chennai Super Kings at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, Kolkata Knight Riders won’t make any changes. But the green on the wicket will make them bring the pace in the team and hence, Lokie Ferguson might replace Harry Gurney. On the other side, All-Rounder Harshal Patel has been ruled out of the tournament with a fracture in his right arm. Likewise, Ponting suggested the probability of Delhi Capitals going in with three pacers, with entry of Trent Boult along with Kagiso Rabada, Chris Morris and Ishant Sharma.
