Now, once again Jos Buttler and Ravichandran Ashwin will be against each other after the Mankading Act that took place in Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Rajasthan. Kings XI Punjab are all set to host Rajasthan Royals for another battle, after defeating them in their home-ground. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals had faced plethora of difficult situations, some consecutive losses, but they are back on the track and most importantly, Jos Buttler is back in the devastating form.

RR defeated Mumbai Indians, with assistance of tremendous batting by Jos Buttler. Alzerra Joseph had a nightmare in the previous clash against Rajasthan Royals, as Buttler navigated all the deliveries out of the ground in an over. The figures in that over was like- 6,4,4,4,4,4. Hence Kings XI Punjab needs to be worried about their middle order, which is again struggling from the past few matches. Therefore, KXIP might add David Miller back to the playing XI in an order to boost the middle-order.

Likewise, Hardus Vijoen is expected to replace Andrew Tye if he has recovered from the illness. On the other side, Rajasthan Royals might be worried about the hip injury of Ben Stokes, whose update on the injury is still diffused. Hence, RR might go with the inclusion of Liam Livingstone or Ashton Turner as a replacement of Ben Stokes, in an order to bring an all-round option for the team. Since the match is scheduled to be played at Punjab Cricket Association, IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, the team might go for chase after winning the toss, due to dew factor.
