After thumping victory against Rajasthan Royals, Chennai Super Kings are set to lock horns with Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 03, Wednesday. MS Dhoni was seen in a great form as he took the responsibility being a captain of the team to bat in a mature way in an order to make a fighting score while the whole team was falling. MS Dhoni scored devastating 75 runs off just 46 balls, reflecting Maahi’s hitting a bit.

CSK total was 175 out of which 75 belongs to the captain himself. Hence, this is going to be tough fight for Mumbai Indians as Maahi’s comeback gives a strong hold to the middle order and hence, Rohit Sharma and squad might refrain from it. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians lost the match against Kings XI Punjab despite having a good total of 176. Mumbai Indians weren’t able to restrict Punjab from scoring the target, in result the bowlers were much expensive.

Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Mayank Markande, all these three bowlers were far more expensive and gave the score more than the average of 10 runs per over. Likewise, the fast bowling department was expensive, but still worked better than the above mentioned expensive bowlers. McClenaghan, Lasith Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah gave runs more than the average of 6 runs per over.

Hence, Mumbai Indians need to work on bowling department as CSK has a lot of experienced players and the leading run scorer of IPL history — Suresh Raina. Moreover, the threat for Mumbai Indians is Dwayne Bravo, the pinch-hitter. Likewise, Chennai’s spinner are doing their job perfectly and would eye to dominate the Mumbaikars as well.

The match is scheduled to be played at Wankhede stadium, the pitch will help both bowlers and the batsmen, but as the game will move on it will favor the batsmen. When it comes about T20 format, Wankhede is the best place in India. The highest total scored here in Wankhede in IPL is 235/1 by RCB against MI; whereas the highest total chased is 195/5 by MI vs RR.
